Who we are

At San Diego Wellness Center, we believe in a holistic, individualized approach to addiction recovery. Our San Diego-based treatment facility offers a wide range of evidence-backed therapies designed to address both the emotional and physical challenges of substance dependence. We integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into our programs, helping clients build essential coping skills, navigate mental health struggles, and create sustainable lifestyle changes.

Beyond one-on-one counseling, we prioritize family involvement, offering dedicated therapy sessions to strengthen relationships and foster a supportive recovery network. Group therapy also plays a vital role in our treatment plans, providing a space for individuals to connect, share experiences, and reinforce their commitment to sobriety. At San Diego Wellness Center, we tailor every aspect of our care to meet the unique needs of each client, empowering them to achieve lasting freedom from addiction and embrace a healthier, more fulfilling future.

JOSH DAVIS

LEAD BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN

My name is Joshua Davis and I’m from San Diego California. I studied at the University of Arizona with an emphasis on Russian studies. Prior to working at San Diego wellness center I was Naval pilot. My introduction to addiction stemmed from various places at a young age and look forward to helping people with this disease.

Julianne Bigler

THERAPIST - AMFT

I received my master’s in clinical counseling from Point Loma Nazarene University. My therapeutic approach focuses on helping clients bring compassionate, intentional awareness to their thoughts and emotions, in order to make the unconscious conscious. I ultimately seek to empower my clients to take agency over what is within their control through objective insight and taking action outside of therapy. You can usually find me somewhere between the peak of a mountain and curled up on the couch, but always with my nose inside a book.

She has also completed specialized coursework in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), equipping her with a well-rounded approach to client care. Passionate about working with individuals navigating substance use and mental health challenges, Joni believes in the transformative power of connection and fostering self-empowerment in the therapeutic process.
